Squash Wales is dedicated in providing an exciting coach education pathway, to enable coaches to coach at all levels, from beginners to elite standard. Our coaching courses include level 1 – beginners, Level 2-intermediate and level 3 – advanced.

Squash Wales Leaders Award
What you will learn
SQW Leaders Award both fun and social, and great for getting more people on court. This six hour course is aimed at university students, public facility staff or club members.
You will be qualified to deliver 4 modules under supervision from a registered Level 1 coach and above .
The course consists of 4 modules:
- To deliver fun, group squash activities Delivering to Juniors (Junior 101)
- Racket Grip and basic swing
- Rackets skills fun and games
- FUN club Skill Awards
- You must be aged 14 and above
Cost and funding support
- Cost £30 , includes 1 year free Registration.

Squash Wales Participation Coaching Course Level 1 (in conjunction with England Squash)
This one-day coaching award provides your first steps into coaching and is a pre-requisite for those wishing to take the Squash Wales Club Coaching Award (Level 2)
Squash Wales Club Coaching Course Level 2 (In conjunction with England Squash)
This is a three-day course that enables coaches to learn the skills necessary to coach individual beginners as well as club to intermediate level juniors and adults.
Squash Wales Club Coaching Course Level 3 (in conjunction with England Squash)
This eight-day course enables coaches to deliver squash to both adults and juniors at beginner, intermediate and advanced level.
Continous Professional Development
Squash Wales is also committed in encouraging continuous professional development for all our registered coaches, by offering regular workshops throughout the year, including mentoring, first aid, safeguarding and equity workshops. These workshops will be advertised via our website and social media.
